Sometimes you need a space that is just yours, a place to say what you can't say anywhere else, and to work through it with someone experienced who truly listens. Every session is backed by nearly 20 years of behavioral health experience, including crisis management, so Arizonans anywhere in the state get steady, expert support when they need it most.

What Is It?

Individual therapy is a private, one-on-one relationship focused on what matters most to you. It can help with depression and low motivation, anxiety and constant worry, trauma, grief and loss, and life transitions such as a move, a job change, a breakup or becoming a parent. It also supports people facing caregiver stress and burnout, substance use and co-occurring concerns, and moments of crisis that call for stabilization and safety planning.

Approaches We Use

Care is grounded in proven methods and adapted to your culture and lived experience. We draw on CBT to shift unhelpful patterns, DBT skills to manage strong emotions, trauma-focused care to safely process painful experiences, and Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Focused Therapy to build on your strengths.

How It Works

Therapy begins with an intake session, where we explore what brought you in, your history, and your strengths. Together, we set clear goals and choose approaches that fit you. Weekly or biweekly sessions then help you build skills for daily life, with progress reviewed every 90 days.

  1. Understand – In the intake session we explore what brought you in, your history and your strengths.
  2. Plan – We set clear, measurable goals together and choose the approaches that fit you.
  3. Practice and grow – Weekly or every-other-week 50–60-minute sessions build skills you use in daily life, with progress reviewed every 90 days.
