Behavioral Health Consulting

Behavioral Health Consulting

Amare ICS partners with behavioral health residential facilities and treatment programs across Arizona to strengthen the clinical side of their work. Whether you are opening a new facility, responding to an audit, or growing your team, we bring hands-on guidance on programming, documentation, policies, and staff training, so your organization can focus on the people it serves.

Strong programs protect the people they serve. Amare ICS helps facilities build clinical programs that work, meet ADHS and AHCCCS requirements, and prepare staff to deliver quality care, with particular experience supporting rural, tribal-serving and dual diagnosis programs. Consulting is grounded in 18 years of experience across child welfare, substance use, serious mental illness and AHCCCS documentation compliance.

What Is It?

Consulting is a partnership with your organization's leadership to close compliance gaps and strengthen clinical services. It is a good fit for facilities that have recent state agencies audit findings or a corrective action plan, are preparing for a new facility license, need dual diagnosis programming or clinical documentation systems, or want trained, confident staff and current policies.

What's Included

Services are tailored to each facility. A Clinical Program Build is a 30–45 day, 8-component engagement covering gap analysis, clinical framework, treatment planning protocol, dual diagnosis group curriculum, documentation templates, staff training, core policies and a 30-day check-in. A Mock State Agencies Compliance Audit provides a full review of clinical records and operations against government standards, and Policy & Procedure Manuals deliver State agencies-compliant policies built for your facility. Staff Training is available as half-day or full-day sessions, on-site or virtual. Monthly Clinical Oversight offers ongoing consultation on a monthly retainer, and Emergency Consultation provides fast support when audit findings or deadlines are close.

How It Works

Every engagement follows three stages, from discovery to sustained results, so your facility gets both a clear plan and lasting improvements.

  1. Discover – A discovery session identifies your facility's compliance gaps, program development needs and priorities.
  2. Build – We agree on a written scope and deliver the programs, policies, audits or training your facility needs.
  3. Sustain – Follow-up check-ins or monthly clinical oversight keep improvements in place over time.

Getting Started

Getting started takes five simple steps. First, request a discovery session by calling (928) 940-2120 or sending a message. Second, in the discovery session we review your facility's needs and priorities together. Third, you'll receive a written proposal with the scope, timeline and fee. Fourth, you'll sign the consulting agreement, along with a Business Associate Agreement if resident information is involved. Finally, the work begins, with regular progress updates from start to finish.

Fees & Payment

Consulting is quoted per engagement, based on scope. The discovery session is complimentary when your facility begins a consulting service within 30 days. Consulting services are advisory. They are separate from Amare ICS's clinical therapy practice and do not include direct clinical services to facility residents.
