Privacy Policy

Amare ICS is a private-pay behavioral health and consulting practice. We provide services by telehealth to people located in Arizona. The practice is owned and managed by Joan Michelle Cordero, LMSW, and operates as a supervised private practice under A.A.C. R4-6-217.

This policy covers information collected through this website only. It does not cover the health information you share once you become a client. That information is protected under our Notice of Privacy Practices, which explains how we use, share and protect your health information in line with HIPAA privacy and security standards. Every client receives the Notice at intake, before any clinical service begins, and you can ask for a copy at any time at privacy@amareics.com or (928) 940-2120.

We do not collect health information through this website. Health information is collected only through our secure, HIPAA-compliant client portal after you begin services.

Through this website we collect:

• What you send through the contact form: your name, your email address and any message you choose to write.
• A coded version of your internet (IP) address, saved with each contact-form message so we can stop spam.
• Basic technical information that our hosting provider records automatically when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you open. It is used to deliver the website and keep it secure.

We don't use advertising cookies or tracking tools, and we don't currently use website analytics.

We use one small cookie to remember whether you chose English or Spanish. People who sign in to edit the website also use sign-in cookies. The map on our Contact page is provided by Google Maps; when it loads, Google may set its own cookies and collect information as described in Google's privacy policy.

We use the information we collect only to:

• Respond to your message and answer your questions
• Share information about the services you asked about
• Keep the website working and secure
• Meet our legal and regulatory obligations

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

We share website information only with the service providers that help us run this website, such as our website host, database provider and email delivery service, and only as needed for them to provide those services. We may also share information when the law requires it.

The contact form and regular email are not secure channels for health information. Please share only your name, contact details and a general reason for reaching out. Once you begin services, we will move our communication to the secure client portal.

This website is meant to be used by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website. If you are looking for services for someone under 18, a parent or legal guardian should contact us on their behalf. Services for adolescents ages 12 to 17 require written consent from a parent or legal guardian.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information you send through this website. We keep contact-form messages only as long as we need them to respond to you and for our business records. No website can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
